Designed to emulate the control room mute function of a radio station On-Air Console. This unit mutes the microphone input while the control room speakers are on and vice-versa. It lends itself to studio side speaker muting equally as well.
It can be operated from the front panel push button switch or with an optional remote switch. It can also be control with a GPI (general purpose interface) signal from external equipment with a negative going pulse.. There is a +5VDC output signal option to engage an on-air light with an optional relay (Please call to select this option). There is a front panel LED to indicate when the microphone is on.
Compatible with balanced and unbalanced signals. The all passive audio chain components eliminates any added noise to the signal or signal degradation. XLR microphone connectors and TRS line level connectors. See the configuration diagram on how to connect the MSFS to your system.
